The Newport Sun Hat

As with all of our straw hats, the Newport is carefully designed in Newport Beach and handwoven by artisans in Ecuador. We are wild about the silhouette of the chic Newport which tips slightly down in the front and has a slightly shorter brim than the other Iris hats. Each IRIS hat boasts UPF 50 sun protection and has an interior size adjuster to help achieve the perfect fit. This sleek hat is polished off with a black genuine leather band.

Material: Paper Straw, Leather.

Size & Fit: Not sure what size to order? Measuring is easy and can be done with a soft measuring tape or a piece of string. Wrap the string around your head where a hat would normally hit (about an inch above the eyebrows). Mark with your finger where the end meets the string and use a ruler or tape measure to measure the total length. Small/Medium 55-57cm Large 57-59 cm **Every hat has a built-in size adjuster so we suggest sizing up and use the velcro size adjuster to achieve the perfect fit.

Care Guide: To maintain your hat in optimal condition, it is advisable to store it away from direct sunlight. If your hat becomes soiled, gently clean it with a microfiber cloth, brushing in the direction of the weave. In the event that your hat gets wet, lay it flat to dry.
